Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of Longmont Residents Directory. By using the pages, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the service.

1. The Nature of This Service

Longmont Residents Directory is a privately operated reference. It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, and historical directory collections connected with Longmont, Boulder County, Weld County, and Colorado. It does not host government records and has no affiliation with a city, county, court, library, or state custodian.

2. Acceptable Use

Use these pages only for lawful purposes. You may not use the service or information reached through it to:

  • Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm a person
  • Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
  • Commit identity theft, fraud, or impersonation
  • Make FCRA-regulated decisions about credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or similar matters
  • Scrape, copy, or republish site material at scale
  • Disrupt the site or evade its security

3. No Consumer Reports

This service is not a consumer reporting agency as that term is defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. Information on these pages, and information returned by a linked search provider, is not a consumer report. It must not be used to assess eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another purpose governed by the FCRA.

4. External Services and Links

Longmont Residents Directory links to government portals, the Longmont City Clerk and city systems, Boulder and Weld County services, Colorado agencies, libraries, archives, and sponsored search tools. Each outside service controls its own content, availability, pricing, privacy practices, and terms. We do not guarantee that an external page will remain online or return a particular result.

5. No Warranties

The service is supplied “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty that a page, link, record description, coverage date, fee, portal, or search result is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose. Confirm a record with its custodian.

6. Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not responsible for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from use of these pages or linked resources, including an action taken from a record located through them.

7. Your Responsibility

You agree to defend and hold harmless the operators from a claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, that results from your misuse of Longmont Residents Directory or breach of these terms.

8. Copyright and Quotation

The original writing, design, logo, and layout belong to the operators or their licensors. Linking to a page and quoting a short excerpt with attribution is welcome. Republishing full pages or copying the material systematically is not permitted.

9. Revisions

We may change these terms by posting a revised version here. Continued use after a revision means you accept the new terms.

10. Suspension of Access

We may block or restrict access for a user who violates these terms, abuses the service, or threatens its operation. This may occur without advance notice.

11. Colorado Law

Colorado law governs these terms, without applying conflict-of-law principles. Public-record references are informed by the Colorado Open Records Act, C.R.S. §§24-72-200.1 through 205, and criminal-justice record requests by the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act, C.R.S. §§24-72-301 through 309. Where visitor data is covered, the Colorado Privacy Act, including C.R.S. §§6-1-1303, 6-1-1304, 6-1-1306, and 6-1-1313, supplies the relevant state privacy framework.

12. Severability

If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

13. Questions
