Information You Submit
When you enter a name, phone number, or address in a search form, the information is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our own servers do not keep a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the details in your message and use them to respond.
Routine Technical Logs
Our hosting service may record an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate for site operation, traffic measurement, and troubleshooting. Basic analytics or advertising measurement may use cookies or similar tools where those services are enabled.
How Visitor Data Is Used
We use the limited information above to operate Longmont Residents Directory, repair errors, understand general page use, and answer messages. We do not sell visitor lists or build an individual profile from ordinary site use.
Links Under Other Policies
Pages link to Boulder and Weld records portals, Longmont city systems, Colorado elections and court services, libraries, archives, and sponsored search tools. Once you leave this site, the receiving service’s privacy policy governs what you submit there. Sponsored results are supplied by a third party.
Who Processes Limited Data
Hosting and technical providers process ordinary server logs. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose information when a valid legal process requires it and otherwise keep disclosures limited to operating the service.
Security and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection. Logs are kept only for the operating, security, and measurement purposes described here. Because there are no user accounts, this site does not hold your password or a profile that could be exposed.
Visitors Under 18
Longmont Residents Directory is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information, contact us so we can review and delete it from our mailbox or other controlled records.
Your Colorado Privacy Choices
Where applicable, the Colorado Privacy Act, C.R.S. §§6-1-1303, 6-1-1304, 6-1-1306, and 6-1-1313, provides rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, and certain opt-outs. The Colorado Attorney General identifies Global Privacy Control as the currently recognized universal opt-out mechanism; enable it separately in each browser or device.
Because this site stores very little, a request generally means checking our contact mailbox and available server logs, then removing information we control. Use the Contact page. Public records held by Longmont, Boulder County, Weld County, or another Colorado custodian are outside our control. Direct a removal or correction request for those records to the office that maintains them.
Changes to This Policy
If our practices change, the revised policy will be posted here. Continuing to use Longmont Residents Directory after an update indicates acceptance of the revised language.
